K.K. 13 years. and 10 months. This patient lacked one of the upper left premolars, resulting in the upper midline shifted to the left. The asymmetry could be seen when she smiled. In the lower jaw there was a concentration in the frontal area. On the left side there were broken interdental ratios. The lower midline was shifted to the right. We decided to extract the first premolar below on the left. We equaled the medians of the upper and lower dental arches and corrected the asymmetry. The treatment lasted 18 months.
